Become a Friend or Patron of Bayimba

Bayimba Cultural Foundation has been enthusiastically and successfully changing the landscape of arts and culture in Uganda. It has been largely operating on the basis of grants and donations from funders and individuals. However, these grants and donations remain insufficient to implement the Foundations ambitious artistic and educational outreach programming and do not yet fully meet the organizational annual budgets. The Foundation has therefore resolved to diversify and expand its financial resource envelope to consolidate its efforts and to enable sustainable growth of its programmes and activities, and ensuring fulfilment of the Foundations mission by establishing a multi-faceted membership programme for private donations:

Friends are registered donors of up to 1 million UGX

  • Regular e-newsletter
  • Access to special website forum
  • Bayimba gadgets at a discount
  • Invitation to free events
  • Reserve listing for priority ticketing to Special Events*

Patron of Bayimba

Patrons are special friends that have shown dedication and commitment by contributing a considerable amount of money.

  • Regular e-newsletter
  • Access to special website forum
  • Bayimba gadgets at discount
  • Invitation to (VIP of) free events
  • Priority ticketing, (VIP) seating and discounts for Special Events* and promotions by partners
  • Visibility/acknowledgement on website and in Festival advertising/publications
  • Voting rights for the annual Bayimba Honours
  • Opportunity to be invited to take on leadership position within the Foundation’s committees

* Special Events are paid for events, such as seasonal concerts/events, Annual Friends of Bayimba Gala.

  1. The Crane Circle Donations of 10,000,000 UGX and above
  2. The Kob Circle Donations of 5,000,000 UGX to 10,000,000 UGX
  3. The Hippo Circle Donations of 2,500,000 UGX to 5,000,000 UGX
  4. The Impala Circle Donations of 1,000,000 UGX to 2,500,000 UGX
  • The minimum donation for a business to be acknowledged as a Patron is 2,500,000 UGX.
  • If a Patron would like his/her donation to be directed towards a specific arts discipline or activity or programme, they can contact the Foundation.
