From humble beginnings in Kigali and Kampala’s suburbs to the full glare of the stage, Lilian has mesmerized many an audience with her rich and powerful vocals.
Lillian is embarking on a new phase of her singing career as a solo artist having taken time off from the group Blu 3. To some this would be a daunting prospect but for Lillian this is something she has dreamed about since she was a little girl.
Her musical style is described as a cross between R&B / Soul tinged with African & Western musical influences. The various types of musical styles come across in the singles she has released so far, namely: Vitamin, Kawa, Kankutwale, Yegwe Weka.
“The beauty about Lillian’s voice is that she can sing almost anything,whether it’s a ballad, a jazz standard, a pop song or a dance track.
To have such vocal versatility is true talent,” says Producer Onoh from Market Makers. This is truly reflected in Lilian’s passion for live performances which she relishes. Currently perfecting her live act with her band the Sundowners.
