Established in 2009, under the leadership of Cornelius Isabirye, Magic Hornz’ songwriting and performances combine Jazz, traditional African Beats, folk, Raggae and Salsa with an original mix of traditional and contemporary sounds from around globe, not to mention a strong brass section ( the Horns’, comprising saxophone, trumpet and trombone) giving the music a punchy front line-up to flavour the performance with magic of the Horns.
Cornelius is an experienced Musician as a teacher, songwriter and performer. The band members are also drawn from a range of experiences, including a soulful Latin singer from Columbia and Female saxophonist from the UK, blending with Uganda artiste trained in the local traditions and African rhythms. Spanning three continents, each member brings their soulful flavor and creativity to this project. Whether it is big and brassy or smooth and soulful, the Magic hornz entertain with style and enthusiasm of people who love to perform.
