Opha Kayira aka Raggae soldier was raised from deeply rooted Anglican family something that gave him a strong spiritual level.
His musical ability was realized while at Junior school and was nurtured by his music teacher. He headed and wrote /composed songs for the school choir, playing the Omulele (flute). He participated in musical competitions, performed in city bars to develop his talents and earn a little penny from music revealers.

In 2007, Reggae Soldier recorded a number of songs and shot videos. He recorded songs like “Lucky Dube hero” [a tribute to the late Lucky Dube 18th October 2007} both on audio and video is his favourite! Other songs include “exile”, “Brotherhood”, “Reggae Africa”, “Tolufuula luyimba”, “tutegekere Egwanga”, “Mpa Kumukwano” among other songs

With a lot comitiment, sense of purpose, and the executive support of Big companies, Record Labels both Nationally and internationally, Reggae Soldier has teamed up with friends and designed a music project proposal in the fields of music art and drama, to promote his talent and reach out to the international audience with conscious reggae music!
