OUR CONTRIBUTION
In 2012 we will again take arts to the people, featuring many exciting events in the capital city of Kampala and in various cities and towns in the regions.
From 21st to 23rd September audiences in Kampala will again be dazzled by an attractive and various programme at the National Theatre – the home of the Bayimba International Festival of the Arts – with:
- 4 stages providing a platform to a wide variety of artists from Uganda that will show case their arts, ranging from music to dance, film to theatre, poetry to visual arts and fashion.
- 5 international groups from Africa and beyond will join Ugandan artists, providing opportunities for sharing skills and experiences.
- Various interactive activities like Headphone Disco that is back by popular demand, Kids Corner for children of all ages to engage in creative time, public mural projects for creative minds at work, art exhibitions and various discussions.
Between March and July audiences in the regions will equally enjoy an exciting programme during one of our 5 regional Bayimba Festivals in Gulu, Arua, Jinja, Mbarara and Mbale.

The Bayimba Festivals have given over 75,000 people from all demographics a chance to experience a world of arts in their own home towns. The Bayimba International Festival attracts over 50,000 visitors while the Regional Festivals attract 5,000 visitors on average. To make the arts available to those that could otherwise not be able to access, all Festivals are free of charge.

UGX 20,000,000 will sponsor …
- All Ugandan artists at the International Festival, or
- Publicity for the International Festival, or
- Publicity for all Regional Festivals, or
- Two international artists.

- Recognition in the Festival program and official website, and
- Recognition during the Festival by stage announcers and on LED screens, and
- Recognition throughout the publicity campaign, and
- ¼ page in the Bayimba Festival Newspaper, and
- Exhibition space at the Festival venue, and
- 10% branding rights (excluding stages), and
- Entitled to one local artist for own promotion campaigns, and
- Six passes for Special VIP event(s).
UGX 5,000,000 will sponsor …
- The Headphone Disco, or
- Special VIP event, or
- Festival t-shirts and gadgets, or
- Daily Bayimba Festival Newspaper, or
- One artist from East Africa.

- Recognition in the Festival program and official website, and
- Recognition during the Festival by stage announcers, and
- Two banners at the Festival venue, and
- Logo on the main print posters and flyers, and
- Two passes for Special VIP event(s).
UGX 50,000,000 will sponsor …
- All artists for the International Festival, or
- Fully equipped main stage, or
- Well-trained artists for all Regional Festivals, or
- Fully equipped stages for all Regional Festivals.
