Sylvester Kabombo is a Ugandan rapper from the Rap duo commonly known as “Sylvester & Abramz” who have played a vital role in the growth of the Ugandan Hiphop scene from the Underground to the mainstream and inspired so many artistes in process. Sylvester has taught, written, arranged and co-produced songs for so many upcoming rappers like Easy Moze, Solo 2012, Arch Brainzamong others.
Sylvester and Abramz had many songs that became hits on the underground scene although the never received radio airplay like; Gwe Muwala, Nkubuulide , kyona kyosaba among others. On the main stream, they’re welknown for songs like, Kyendi Kyendi, Lemerako, Baako Nekyokolawo, mufumbiro among others.
As a musical duo, they have an album Kyendi Kyendi to their credit. They performed in Zanzibar – Tanzania at the Annual ZIFF Festival 06 and Denmark at the annual My World Images Festival 2010 that was organized by the Danish Center for culture and Development.
Currently, Sylvester is working on his solo career album called Twagalane (Love One another) coming out this year and accompanied by videos and an album concert. He is working for Bayimba Cultural Foundation as the Hip Hop coordinator for Youth and Hip Hop Project that started this year 1st march 2011.
