Since its inception in 2003, Theatre Factory (TF) has invested numerous resources in the use of theatre and film as a means of supporting development of communities, organisations and individuals in Uganda, communicating corporate company strategies, and the creation of a sustainable stream of quality art to inform and entertain individuals across the social spectrum. With an average weekly following of 1,200 persons attending our flagship product, ComedyNite @ National Theatre, Theatre Factory has steadily grown over the past Six years as a leader in the theatre and film industries in Uganda.

Theatre Factory has been involved in numerous radio and film projects throughout its existence which have included Barbed Wire (in its Second season on NTV) the UTV (Now UBC) drama series ‘Child of a Delegate’, Considerable participation in Bakayimbira’s WBS television series ‘Kigenya Agenya’, three independently produced feature films that include ‘They Stopped Eating Fruits’, it’s Luganda version ‘Tebakyalya Bibala’ for Uganda Securities Exchange, and most recently, ‘Waiting for My Tractor’ for DENIVA Uganda, and a series of training videos for Stanbic Bank Ltd.
