It has been a while since we last reached out. The years following the pandemic brought immense changes and challenges to our creative landscape, and we know many of you felt the impact deeply.

At the Bayimba Cultural Foundation, we have spent the last 15+ years sharing incredible moments with you through our festivals, workshops, and concerts. We have missed being in regular touch with our community, but behind the scenes, we have been working on something very exciting.

We are thrilled to announce the development of the “Arts on the Move” platform.

What is it? “Arts on the Move” will be an innovative online marketplace designed specifically to connect Ugandan artists with global touring opportunities. Our goal is to create a digital hub where you can showcase your work, upload technical riders, and manage tour schedules, while making it easy for international promoters and venues to discover and book Ugandan talent.

We need your voice. To build a platform that actually solves your problems—whether that is overcoming visa hurdles, finding reliable payment systems, or getting logistical and marketing support—we need to hear directly from you.

We have put together a survey to understand your specific challenges, needs, and aspirations for touring. Your input will directly shape how this platform is built and ensure it serves the artists it was created for.
