Showcase Artist Application Form
Showcases are an integral part of DOADOA. During the day DOADOA will provide the opportunity to musicians and bands to meet and network with several festival directors and programmers from the East African Festival Network, followed evening showcases.
To seize this opportunity to perform in the presence of producers, concert and tour bookers, festival programmers, record labels, distributors, journalists and many other industry professionals, DOADOA is calling interested bands and musicians from East Africa to submit the enclosed registration form together with:
- A press kit
- A link to a live performance
- A minimum of two photographs biography
Submissions can be uploaded online (see form below) or forwarded to [email protected].
Deadline for submissions is 30th of March, 2025.
The DOADOA selection committee will decide on artists/groups to be invited for official showcase. Since DOADOA is a market place that provides a networking and learning space, selected artists are required to stay for the full period of DOADOA. Please note that DOADOA will only cover any artistic showcase expenses. DOADOA provides you the stage with the equipment (professional backline) to perform and unprecedented promotion opportunities. So, when registering for showcase, do make sure you carefully think about financing of all costs involved (daily subsistence, additional accommodation, insurance, visa and travel) and inform DOADOA about any support or funding you might have.
