About Bayimba Cultural Foundation

Bayimba Cultural Foundation is a Ugandan Local cultural initiative founded in November 2006 after an extensive exploration of the state of culture in Uganda and East Africa. The foundation believes that through its cultural development activities, it can advance the development of the people and society of Uganda and East Africa as it strongly believes that culture and development are interrelated.

To achieve its set Objectives, the foundation organizes a series of events round the year that include workshops, conferences, exhibitions, exchange programs, regional festivals and an international festival of arts. Every season we travel to selected regions in Uganda where we organize a one day festival and one in Kampala takes three days. But this time from August 9th to 13th 2023 we are stationing in Mukono Lunkulu Island for the Bayimba International Festival of Arts.

Exhibition

The Festival offers great opportunity to Exhibitors to exhibit and sell their products at this year’s festival see below details on exhibition

  • All exhibitors shall provide their own camping tents, tables and chairs. The Foundation only provides a platform to showcase their products
  • The exhibitors shall bring their own generators for any type of electricals as the festival will only provide lighting.
  • The foundation is not liable for any property lost, all exhibitors have to take care of their property even though there will be security at the festival grounds, you will be responsible for your own property.

Note

  • Exhibitors that display their product with a unique artistic touch will be most appreciated
  • All exhibitors must endeavor to meet with the organizing team before the festival date
  • All exhibitors will have to confirm participation before the 30th July 2023
  • All exhibitors are entitled to pay a fee of UGX 300,000 shillings for the food vendors and UGX 250,000 Shillings for art and craft for the five days of the festival.
  • All exhibitors will have to be dressed in the Festival T-Shirts
