Safeguarding and Ethical Conduct Integration

Bayimba Foundation recognizes that integrity and safeguarding are interlinked principles that uphold the dignity, rights and safety of all individuals involved in our programs, activities, and partnerships. To ensure a holistic approach to ethics and responsibility, the following safeguarding and ethical conduct measures apply:

  • Link to Safeguarding Policy: All staff, volunteers, partners and Vendors must adhere to the Bayimba Accessibility, Safeguarding and Inclusion Policy in addition to this Integrity Policy.
  • Anti-Harassment and Bullying: Bayimba maintains a zero-tolerance approach toward harassment, bullying, or any behavior that undermines personal dignity or safety.
  • Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection: All individuals working with or on behalf of Bayimba must act to prevent harm or abuse and report any safeguarding concerns immediately.
  • Whistleblowing and Non-Retaliation: Individuals who report breaches of integrity or safeguarding in good faith are protected from retaliation or negative consequences.
  • Confidentiality and Support: All reports are treated confidentially, and support is provided to affected individuals as appropriate.
  • Training and Awareness: Regular training is provided on integrity, safeguarding and ethical conduct to strengthen compliance and accountability across all operations.

Reporting Channels and Responsibilities
